A KING IS BORN

Scripture: Matthew 1:18-23

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” John 3:16 (NIV)

In the little town of Bethlehem a King was born that would change the course of the world. Under very unique Icircumstances God introduced his Son to the world to save mankind from peril. A virgin gave birth to a baby who would later be the savior of the world.

God loves man so much that he sacrificed his son for us,
He sent his son to earth to assure us that he will always be with us and will never forsake us. What a glorious day when the savior was born! Let us be grateful because God came to dwell in our midst therefore we are assured that he understands all we go through. He saw the world through the eyes of man so he can relate to our troubles.

Give yourself totally to God today and never place yourself or anything else above him. Christmas is not just a time to wine and dine, it is also a time to reflect on the love God has for us and how much he has sacrificed for us. It is a time to rededicate our lives to him and thank him for letting his Son come down to this world and live among us. It is a time to show love to the next person thereby glorifying God.

PRAYER: Lord, don’t let me miss the real message of Christmas, help me to realize how important you are to me in Jesus name.

FAITH BYTE: I am grateful for the birth of Jesus and I surrender my life completely to Him.
