STAND BY YOUR DECISION

Scripture: Genesis 11:1-9

"... and this is only the beginning of what they will do. Nothing that they have in mind to do will be impossible for them!" Genesis 11:6 (ISV)

Feedback: Share your experience after sharing God’s word with another

At the beginning of each year, people make new-year resolutions. Some people decide to pursue a more serious relationship with God, pursue a career or work on a project. Some people even take it a step further by writing their decisions down,
but the issue has always been the ability to stick to those decisions and make sure they happen.

The people in Genesis 11 made a decision of building a tower whose top would reach the heavens. They didn't just make this decision; they started out, and were determined to push it through. It was the determination God saw in them that made Him to come down because He knew that if He does not intercept, they will actually complete their task. If you want miracles in your life, you have to make a decision and also stick to that decision.

When you make a decision, follow through on it. Do not quit irrespective of what is rising up against you. And at the same time, you should not be scared of making decisions because you don't want to commit yourself. Indecision is a satanic weapon and it has robbed many men and women of great opportunities to turn their misery into miracles. Make a decision that will not only benefit you, but your generations unborn, and follow through on it. As you step into a new year and start making destiny-turning decisions, the Lord will empower you to see them through. You will succeed in Jesus Name.

Reflection: Is indecision or inability to follow through, robbing me of my miracles?

PRAYER: Help me Lord, to make quality decisions and be able to stick to them in Jesus' name.

FAITH BYTE: I am not a quitter, I am a winner because I make quality decisions and stand by them unto the end.

This Week Walk of Faith: Write down your goals for next year and pray earnestly for divine actualization.
